Presenter

Demenna Milord, LMHC

Demenna Milord is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, public speaker, and an Anxiety & Fear Relief Coach. She assists Adult Black women and Adult Children of Immigrant Parents to increase peace in their lives, by using strategic, realistic, and doable coping skills to manage feelings of anxiety and general life stressors. Demenna believes that once you figure out the thoughts and feelings behind the distress in your life, you can then work on identifying and applying healthy and strategic skills to help you increase tolerance of distress. After spending the last 8 years working in settings such as community mental health/mobile crisis, psychiatric hospitalization facilities, and substance abuse centers, Demenna has been able to help people from different walks of life gain back something very important to them - peace and the ability to handle stress well. Demenna graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. Demenna is also currently a member of the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association (FMHCA), a chapter of the American Mental Health Counselors Association.
