“The edge of the observable universe is about 270,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 miles away.
If you drive at a steady 65 miles per hour, it will take you 480,000,000,000,000,000 years to get there, or 35 million times the current age of the universe.”
Even though the universe is so immense, there is attention to the smallest detail. An article in the latest edition of Science News tells us that protons are even made up of smaller particles. At present we know protons include up quarks, down quarks, “charm” quarks, antimatter quarks (antiquarks), several more quarks that haven’t even been given names yet, and gluons.
When we look at the vastness of the universe, all the way down to the details of every cell in microscopic detail, and the fact that all these things were made by a Creator in a single moment, we truly can say with the Psalmist “What is man, that thou are mindful of him?”
What Babies Hear When You Sing to Them
This article says mothers or fathers singing to their babies can be very helpful to the baby. Let me just include a short quote from the article: “Singing to children…, as opposed to just speaking, carries distinct benefits. Babies also find a father’s singing highly engaging, especially if he uses a higher vocal pitch.” I encourage you to read the whole article: I’m sure you will run into someone who can benefit from this information.
